The setLR collects approximately a 4L sample from the aeration basin into the settlement tank. The supernatant is transferred into the sample containment tube which uses compressed air and a vacuum to separate a 50ml sample suitable for analysis in the NOx-monitrix in-process analyser.
On-going maintenance of the setLR is simple and can be performed onsite by operative-level technicians.
SAMPLING
SERVICE
The service itself can range in terms of the level of intervention and skill required. setLR-monitrix has been designed with servicing in mind, and to keep the majority of service activity at a low skill level, enabling both end users and service agents alike to have light touch points with the sampler to ensure its continued operation.
As the setLR comes supplied with a NOx-monitrix analyser it is important to cross-reference the section on servicing within the NOx-monitrix page. The service requirement for the setLR depends upon the condition of the sample matrix ( activated sludge) and the duty cycle (required sample frequency) of the analyser. We have a recommended service guideline based on the duty cycle and the sample matrix. Our service guidelines have been built upon experience operating the setLR and analysers in various applications worldwide.
Climate control is an integral part of the setLR / analysers’ operation. We include a 150Kw heater with the setLR to protect the analysers from colder conditions.
BENEFITS
The setLR-monitrix works based on sample settlement instead of filtration which overcomes the problems associated with traditional filtration systems such as biofilm build-up and interference on measurement.
The setLR system is robust, and simple to use and maintain. As the internal components of the setLR are widely used within other common-day industrial applications they are readily available, extremely reliable and competitively priced.
