Colm Lynch, CEO

With over 25 years experience in various leadership roles in the Science and Chemical sectors, Colm stepped up from his position as COO at Aquamonitrix to CEO in January 2024.

Colm has a proven track record of delivering performance improvement in manufacturing environments by streamlining workflows, optimising resources, and driving continuous improvement.

With a focus on identifying opportunities for growth, product development and developing global partnerships, Colm leads the Aquamonitrix team with values underpinned by a culture of collaboration and innovation.

Alan Staunton, NPD Manager

Alan leads the Product Development / Engineering team within Aquamonitrix and is a member of the Aquamonitrix Leadership Team, having joined the company in 2019.

With a BEng in Mechatronic Engineering and a Project Management qualification, Alan has over 23 years of industry experience ranging from engineering and project management of large-scale capital projects in pharmaceutical, medical device and electronic/semiconductor industries to product engineering and leadership roles across a wide range of industries such as water, security, med device and automotive.

Breda Moore, Founder

Breda leads the technical operations at T.E. Laboratories, responsible for scientific matters across the various divisions: environmental analysis, oil (lubrication and transformer) analysis, chemical manufacturing, R&D and training. Her role within Aquamonitrix is to support the team in developing the new product iterations.

Mark Bowkett, Founder

Mark is the Managing Director at both T.E.Laboratoires and Aquamonitrix. He is heavily involved in the day-to-day operations of T.E. Labororaties and the strategic development of Aquamonitrix in terms of new product development and supporting global sales and marketing efforts.

John Mc Grath, Founder

John McGrath is the Sales Director with both Aquamonitrix and T.E. Laboratories and is involved in the marketing and sales management of both companies. For Aquamonitrix this entails distributor management and support, stragetic development of value proposition and user cases for the Aquamonitrix product lines.

John joined TelLab in 1994 and was involved in growing the company to the position of leading environmental / tribology /chemical manufacturing laboratory in Ireland. Dr Michael Strahand, CSO Aquamonitrix

Our CSO Michael has over 30 years of experience in the water industry. He is a well-regarded and respected member of the industry expert who fuses academic excellence with business acumen. He works alongside the board of directors at Aquamonitrix to develop strategy and then translate that strategy into action plans and activities needed to reach the company goals.

He is a key member of the senior sales team and his hands-on approach to business sees him equally at home on a wastewater treatment facility or contributing to conferences.

PJ Sunjka, NPD Engineer

Peter John has been with Aquamonitrix since 2020 as a New Product Development electronics hardware and software design and test engineer who graduated in Electronic Engineering from Technikon Natal, Durban, South Africa.

Peter John has been with Aquamonitrix since 2020 as a New Product Development electronics hardware and software design and test engineer who graduated in Electronic Engineering from Technikon Natal, Durban, South Africa and brings 10 years industry experience in product development of digital crane and motor control systems and 16 years’ experience in development and field testing of air bourn TELEMETRY systems and HF radios.

Mario Carrara, Production Manager

Mario is an experienced Production Manager with a proven track record of implementing change in a variety of manufacturing environments and implementing continuous improvement in traditional arenas across global territories including China, Belgium, Finland, Italy, Spain and UK

Mario utilises Lean Techniques to realise significant financial improvements. A resilient and tenacious leader, effective communicator and innovator who brings real change and development of people and processes.

Mario Joined Aquamonitrix in 2021 and led the team in developing the production lay-out.

Joining us in June 2025, Dr. Xavier Cama Moncunill will be working as a Project Officer/Research Scientist.

Roman Frantsuzov, R&D Engineer

Roman Frantsuzov is a dynamic member of the Aquamonitrix® team, bringing a blend of technical expertise and academic rigor to his role as a Graduate Mechatronic Engineer. With a Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering from ITMO University, and a Master of Engineering in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from Dublin City University, Roman possesses a strong foundation in interdisciplinary engineering principles.

Throughout his academic journey, Roman has demonstrated a passion for innovation and problem-solving. His coursework included advanced topics such as Mechanical Design, CAD, Biomechanics, and Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), equipping him with the skills necessary to tackle complex challenges in the field of water analysis.

Drawing from his educational background, Roman collaborates with the Aquamonitrix® team to develop cutting-edge solutions for real-time water analysis and monitoring. His commitment to excellence and drive for innovation align seamlessly with Aquamonitrix®’s mission of providing reliable, state-of-the-art technology to clients worldwide.

Dr. Dinesh Anton Raja P, Firmware & Software Engineer-NPD

Dr.Dinesh is a highly skilled Firmware & Software Engineer in New Product Development and has been with Aquamonitrix Ltd since 2024.
He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering and a Master of Engineering in Embedded System Technologies, both from Anna University, Chennai, India. He later earned his Ph.D. in Wireless Sensor Networks and the Internet of Things from the same university.

With a strong foundation in academic research, applied innovation, and hands-on expertise in advanced embedded systems, Dr. Dinesh contributes significantly to New Product Development, working at the intersection of cutting-edge technology and real-world environmental applications.

He has successfully completed a funded product development project under Defence Research and Development Organisation, India, focusing on IoT-based sensing platforms and real-time monitoring systems. His work supports Aquamonitrix®’s mission to deliver smart, automated solutions for water analysis and monitoring.
