Chloramines & Nitrification Problems : Aquamonitrix Provides a Solution

Optimising Low Water Use in RAS – Webinar

In this free webinar, Dr Eoin Murry & Dr Mike Strahand present and discuss the way in which Aquamonitrix Analysers are being used to identify Nitrification events in Chloraminated Water Systems. The webinar is at 4PM, GMT on Tuesday, 14th November 2023. Nitrification is a microbial process that converts ammonia and similar nitrogen compounds into nitrite (NO2–) and then nitrate (NO3–). Nitrification can occur in water systems that contain chloramines. The problem is most significant when temperatures are warm, and water usage is low. The problem causes taste and order issues in drinking water at the consumer level.
